I'm thinking about changing my blogging involvement. I will either end the family blog or make it "invited readers only." To be honest, I'm not certain who or how many people actually follow anyway. If you have any opinion, feel free to email me or post a comment.

No real opinion, but I do understand your thoughts of wanting to keep your family happenings for just those you feel safe with.
I have followed your blog for quite a while now, and find your posts inspirational.

I am glad I went private--although it is limiting sometimes--because I don't like the idea of M so exposed. I also like Wordpress since you can PP individual posts, but I don't want anything relating to her public so I have stayed with blogger. Just my thoughts.

How about adding a hit counter to your blog so you can see how much traffic you're getting. You can even add goodies (free stuff) that plots where your visitors are coming from on a map.
I was private for a year then went public again. I just didn't see it as much different than walking around at the mall or park with strangers all around us. But I don't ever share really personal information on the blog.
Please let me know if you go private. I'm a Qinzhou Mom and I'd like to stay in touch because our kids are as close to biological family as they'll ever know!

I added the button where people can subscribe to my blog so I see who is watching. Of course, there are quite a few others too. I also have a live feed that tells me city and state or country that logged onto my blog. Keep me posted if you decide to go invite only! I want an invite!
PS, I loved the previous post with the girls singing and you could hear Tom too! Just precious!
